I thought I would share with you my go to everyday look, with just a seduction of a red lip. This look can be used during the day and can be jazzed up with that sexy red lip! Great for this festive season.
I start off my makeup routine by simply spritzing my face with this. I believe this bottle has multi uses and I believe by spaying this before foundation and even before primer, helps everything to ‘sit’ on the face ever so nicely. This product can also be used, if you have overdone the powder, and want to replicate that more dewy effect.
This is becoming my everyday ‘go to’ Charlotte Tilbury, I cant get enough of. This product makes you instantly feel fabulous and my complexion just shouts out radiance. I have been using this as a primer and apply all over the face.
This satin, yet subtle dewy foundation, is my favourite foundation . I say dewy as this foundation warms to your skin and gives off a gentle glow. I find this foundation actually helps improves my skins appearance. I apply this foundation with my Zoeva 102 Silk Finish Brush and spray my Mac Prep and Prime Fix In between layers of foundation.
This really is the holy grail of concealer. I am yet to find another concealer, which has it all. I apply the concealer under my eyes, under my nose and on any blemishes I need to hide. The staying power of this concealer is brilliant if you set with some translucent powder.
This powder I like to call, fairy dust in a box. It is wonderfully silky and is great at setting my foundation. When I use this powder my skin feels so smooth, looks brighter, and looks healthy. My foundation lasts all day and my skin has the appearance at times like you have put an Instagram filter on your face. Love Love Love this!
I adore this product. Not only can you mix this into your foundation to create a gorgeous glamorous glow. I dab this along the cheekbones, above my cupids bow and on the bridge of my nose. This Illuminator is awesome. With some highlighters I find you end up looking like a disco ball. Nars, have got Copacabana right, the result is dewy, with a lustrous glow.
This bronzer has it all. If you wanted a product that delivers a delicate sunkissed shimmer, Nars Laguna is your baby. The shimmer is not overpowering and provides a healthy glow. I use this bronzer to contour my face, as the powder is quite matt, with just a touch of shimmer.
This is a highly pigmented beautiful peachy brown blush. The finish is matt and is in there sheertone range. This blusher beautifully contours your cheekbones, without going overboard. Kim Kardashian is said to favour this blusher.
I always had that problem with liquid eye liners, where you just can’t get it right. It never works out for me, the line looks wobbly, the line is too thick, or the liquid just wears off and goes horribly crumbly. Thank you Kat Von D, we have a formula which is perfect and jet black! The brush is like a felt tip, which make application very easy.
This peachy/copper lustre finish eye shadow is my go to eyeshadow. Mythology is highly pigmented, and being a lustre only has a little fall out. I apply this all over the lid and in the crease.
Antiqued is a beautiful browny/ red colour. I find it really brings out my green eyes, and is suitable for all makeup looks, not just for day. I love using this after using Mac Mythology , especially for evenings or events. I apply in the crease to achieve this strong but subtle look. I also apply Antiqued on the lower lash line with a Mac 239 Brush to make my eyes pop.
This is an adorable eyebrow pencil, which does a perfect job in filling in my not so perfect eyebrows. The waxy formula is great and comes with a small brush to run through your brows to create a more natural effect. The pencil itself is very thin so it allows for great precision. For those Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz lovers out there, this is your dupe, they even look and feel identical.
After perfecting your eyebrows, you need something to keep everything in place. I find L’Oreal Paris Perfection Brow Artist Plumper is ideal to keep those eyebrows at bay. The formula has special fibres, which keeps everything in tact. I lightly run the brush through my brows, as only a little is needed. Too much, and your eyebrows will be on the crunchy side.
This mascara is always in my makeup bag. I love how the brush is very flexible, making it easy for you to reach all those lashes. I find that this mascara is very buildable, without those nasty clumps giving you a faultless flutter. I accidently picked up the shade in brown, instead of Extra black. I actually find the brown shade brings out my eyes, which is fabulous for a daytime look. Try it out!
I am a lover of Red lipsticks, and Christmas is the perfect time to show off those beautiful lips of yours. At Christmas, Russian Red is always on my lips. The texture is matt, however I find it is a creamy matt, that is not overwhelmingly drying. The lipstick does not tug when you apply on your lips and glides easily, unlike other matt lipsticks. The staying power can last from six to eight hours if you use Prep + Prime Lip.I love the colour of this Russian red, it is your classic Christmas true red.
