Someone once told me that on the days that you feel the worst. When you don’t want to leave your bed due to migraine, stress, depression or life in general, you should In fact see if you can get up, get out and slap on the good ole makeup!

I know what it is like to suffer from all of these, not leaving my house for days on end. Sometimes just simply taking some of these steps below have helped me to feel better in myself, and I hope they help you too!

I am so surprised by how little my friends and family drink. Having to take medication, I drink like a fish. You rarely see me without a bottle of water. All I can say is make sure you drink enough of this beautiful available clear liquid!

Baths are a great way to relax, refresh and unwind. The past year has been really tough for me with intense migraines and feeling stressful. If there was a product that has really helped me to ‘chillax’ and help me sleep Aromatherapy Associates Deep Relax has won hands down. This product I found not only can be used at bedtime to aid sleep, but can be used at any time of the day when I feel achy or in pain.

Claris Huile ‘ Relax’ Body Treatment Oil This is a fantastic oil especially if you got that lingering pain going down your back, neck or anywhere on the body. The smell is divine and not overpowering. The oil can be used after a shower or whenever you feel like being pampered.

The Clarins HydraQuench Cream Mask Dehydrated Skin is such a treat. I find I have a bath, slap this on my face and then as If by magic my skin just looks flawless after rinsing this off. This is great for dry skin or for those who just need a boost! The Hydraquench smells fabulous. This product really is a good buy! What is great about Clarins is that if you’re a regular buyer, you will find that you will stock up on quite nice handy samples and become addicted to the new samples and end up buying more! Quite clever! Yes Clarins!

Charlotte Tilbury really is a goddess, and she really does have some great products. When you’re not feeling yourself, and your skin is dull, and needs that’s instant ooo la la factor I find that putting Wonderglow under my makeup is the one. I actually use Wonderglow as a primer. The outcome is that it gives you this instant radiance and beautiful natural glow! This is the product for you if your skin needs to go from flat to fantastic! Thank you Charlotte!

The holy grail of all concealers hands down will have to be my beloved Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Concealer should be in every girls handbag, for me it’s a must! When I feel a migraine coming on the circles under my eyes are a tell-tale sign.I have probably gone through around 5 or 6 of these, and the reason being that they have many purposes. Firstly the eyes, when you are tired, had no sleep, and you have bags under you eyes, this concealer brightens, covers the darks circles without feeling like you got loads of product on, while giving you a gorgeous glow. This concealer hides away any blemishes, and keeps them hidden; just add a touch of powder to set! The concealer is really hydrating and does not leave creases! Leaving you with a flawless finish and ready for anything!

My favourite makeup product without a doubt is lipstick. I own around 100 lipsticks if not more, and have an addiction to buying them, yes I just said it! I find that if you’re not yourself putting on a bold lipstick or even just your favourite nude, can raise your mood or make that pain just a little bearable. At the moment I am loving Dior Addict Fluid Stick, it’s a beautiful hybrid of a gloss and a lipstick and finally one that not sticky! It has a lovely shine to it with a lightweight texture!
